RSC: A New Agency Resource for Contra Costa CFS Staff
As an employee of Contra Costa CFS, you have access to On Demand and Group RSC with an external consultant from the Alyssa Najera team.
Reflective Supervision / Consultation (RSC) supports staff in high-stress, trauma-exposed roles who may be at risk of burnout, compassion fatigue, direct, or secondary traumatic stress. It provides a consistent, confidential space to reflect on work, connect with peers, and reflect on the emotional impact of their role.

On-Demand RSC
In addition to small group settings, individual RSC is also available to Contra Costa CFS through On Demand RSC. On Demand RSC is available during the workday and at no cost to you.
*On-Demand RSC sessions are limited. As we introduce this new resource, we ask that employees who choose to use On-Demand RSC plan for a one-time session during 2025-2026 fiscal year. Thank you for understanding.
RSC Group
Groups are confidential small groups (max 8 participants) held virtually and separated by classification. Update as of 02/19/26:
- Group RSC for Supervisors: Sign-ups remain open with a new start date of September 2026. Additional details to follow.
- Group 1 RSC for Social Workers (starts 03/03/26): Sign-ups now closed.
- Group 2 RSC for Social Workers (starts 05/07/26): Sign-ups are open and will close on Friday, March 13, 2026.
Details for the next cohort of groups, running September 2026 through June 2027, will be available soon and can be found here or on the RSC Group Sign-Up Form.
